Our Under 8's coach Matty Green organised for two of our younger age groups to be Mascots for the day, at Connah's Quay Nomads first team match against Haverford West. The boys cheered the team on to a 1 nil victory over their opponents.
The boys started the experience with a planned training session undertaken by Jordan Parry, a very experienced Academy coach from Nomads. The players had a wonderful time with Jord, he even organised pizza's for them for lunch.
After finishing up their time at the Nomad's community hub, they travelled over to the stadium. They were greeted and walked out with the players, who were great with the team. The young Dragons then sat with their parents in the stands to cheer the team on to victory.
It was a very enjoyable day and the players had a fantastic time. A big thank you to Matty for organising, and Jordan and the Nomads team for the boys experience. We wish Connah's Quay Nomads luck for the rest of the season.
