I am Tracy Booth, community liason officer for Deeside Dragons junior football club. As a fully inclusive club we wanted to give back to the community and help by donating to a local charity. A board member forwarded me a post on facebook from The Deeside Crisis Centre, who are a group of volunteers that help vulnerable people all across flintshire with care packages. Deeside Dragons thought it would be a great idea to get involved by collecting as many easter eggs as possible from our teams. One of our inclusion officers created a fabulous poster for us to share on our social media so the community could all get involved too, and it was a roaring success. We had 214 easter eggs donated at our drop off point at Rowley's Drive, where Bernie Attridge came and collected them from us. We had a quick picture with some of the children who had donated and were helping out, and he explained who the Eggs would be helping and was very grateful to all at Deeside dragons who got involved
